PointCentral 8.0 Release Notes

PointCentral® — GENERAL ENHANCEMENTS, CHANGES, AND FIXES

Change Description
New Functionality MyCalyx Digital Key
PointCentral uses the MyCalyx Digital Key to manage the number of PointCentral users and account licenses. The PointCentral server retrieves the digital key from MyCalyx automatically every month to keep the PointCentral server current. In addition, when the license count changes in MyCalyx, the digital key is refreshed in PointCentral, keeping the server up-to-date.

In the event that the number of users exceed the number of account licenses, a 24-day grace period is activated. You can purchase additional licenses or disable users to balance the number of users and licenses, consequently, canceling the grace period and preventing a lapse in connectivity.
Important: If updating to PointCentral 8.0 causes the number of PointCentral users to exceed the number of your account licenses, a 30-day grace period is activated. This extended grace period is provided to give you ample time to balance the number of users and licenses so that you do not experience a lapse in connectivity during the adjustment period.
Mobile Applications
PointCentral supports connectivity with Calyx mobile applications. PointCentral access can be enabled or disabled for both Point and Mobile.

Rules
PointCentral Rules can be enabled or disabled for both Point and Mobile.
Fixes
  • The SQL compatibility mode for SQL 2000 is set to the current database version when upgrading PointCentral.
  • Updated rule field list to include Borrower Present Address County, field ID 115
  • Field ID 13412, "Ref No" field in the Wire To section of Closing Instructions, can be used in a Point report.
