SYMPTOM

An error occurs when you log into Point as well as when accessing the pipeline view. This error appears when Point has been updated to version 8.0 but the PointCentral server has not been updated.

The Point user will still be able to login and access loan files but the error may also occur when navigating in the system.

CAUSE

Point 8.0 has been installed on the workstation but the PointCentral server has not been updated. Point 8.0 is not compatible with PointCentral 7.6 or below.

RESOLUTION

Update the server to PointCentral 8.0. Point 8.0 is only supported with PointCentral 8.0 if you are configured for PointCentral access.
