Point 8.0 Service Pack 2 Release Notes: Release Date February 5, 2013

Change Description

Compliance

  • Updated the Fees Worksheet, block 2, with editable percentage or dollar amount fields and added locked calculation fields that accurately reflect amount changes to the credit fields
  • Updated values and text on the Anti-Steering Disclosure to match the Good Faith Estimate
  • Modified CLTV to properly reflect when a second mortgage amount is added
  • Corrected combined top/bottom ratios for unmarried borrowers
  • Updated HUD1 and HUD1-A with the correct order of the Deed and Mtg fields
  • Updated the FHA DE Analysis of Appraisal Report (HUD 54114) to comply with the latest requirements
Services and Interfaces
  • Updated Other Income descriptions to match the latest Fannie Mae version of DO/DU
  • Added fields to accommodate Freddie Mac ULDD updates
  • Improved the MRG interface for a better user experience
  • Updated the ARM list for the Fannie Mae interface

Description

General Updates
  • The Paid By Borrower button on the Fees Worksheet does not change to "Paid By Other" when a master or prospect template is applied.
  • Point behaves correctly when a user navigates between a Point file and a template.
  • Existing conditions remain unchanged when a condition is deleted.
  • Point behaves correctly when the Load Field ID is selected from the Utilities menu and the Keep open check box is selected on an open borrower file.
  • Lock confirmation remains enabled after a master template is imported.
  • Point behaves correctly when the navigation panel is minimized and maximized.
  • Self Employed Income Analysis Form A correctly calculates the Total Income Available fields in section C.
  • Point behaves correctly when updating the status on the information bar.
  • Gain/Loss on sale recalculates correctly when a master template is applied.
  • Total payments in the Transmittal Summary recalculates correctly after the lock box is used to make a manual change in the Other Obligations section.
  • Subject Property Address flows to the REO section on page 3 of the Loan Application when the loan type is a refinance.
  • Point behaves correctly when the Loan checklist is updated.
  • Mobile Access passes the processor name to Calyx Mobile when an existing loan is opened.
  • The Mortgage Insurance Premium/Funding Fee/USDA Annual Fee dialog box recalculates correctly after the lock box for amount paid in cash is unchecked.
  • When "Access to secured Area" is disabled for a user connected via Mobile Access, the delete note function is also disabled for that user.
  • Origination charges are recalculated after a prospect or master template is applied.
Pipeline
  • Cash-to-close displays correctly when the Automated Pipeline option is configured.
  • Pipeline updates correctly when a new loan is created in Calyx Mobile.
  • The Conditions column displays count of open conditions.
  • The New Loan icon is enabled when the Pipeline is viewed.
Forms
  • Total Payments are printed correctly for USDA loans.

Description

New Functionality
  • Created a new Pipeline screen where users can group their current loans in a single screen.
  • Added the new Texas Mortgage Company Disclosure and Mortgage Banker Disclosure.
  • Improved functionality for UDSA loans by including annual fee calculations and schedule form.
  • Enhanced WebCaster usability by integrating WebCaster Desktop functionality into Point. Existing Webcaster Desktop users can choose to uninstall the application.
  • Updated NMLS call reports to include Pre-Approval Requests Denied, Pre-Approval Requests Approved but not Accepted Total Loan Type, Total Property Type, Total of Purpose of Loan or Application, Loans Made and Assigned but Required to Repurchase in Period and Gross Revenue from Operations.
  • Updated Point to give Mobile users access to their pipeline where they can edit existing loans and create new loans from the Calyx Mobile applications.*
Forms
  • MLDS 882 includes all “Additional Settlement Charges Not Included on GFE” fees in the “Other Charges Total” section of the form.
  • Updated the FHA Home Inspection (HUD-92564-CN) form expiration date.
  • Updated the “FHA Mortgage Insurance Premium Information” section of the FHA Consumer Choice Disclosure Notice.
  • Updated the Flood Hazard Determination form to comply with the most recently released form that becomes mandatory January 1, 2013.
  • Updated the “HOW YOUR PAYMENTS CAN CHANGE” section of the ARM disclosure to include an additional disclosure.
  • Corrected a typographical error in the “What if there are mistakes in your credit report” section of the Credit Score Disclosure.
  • Updated the Privacy Policy Disclosure to italicize bullet text in the three definitions boxes.
  • Updated the loan application printout to include company information when a user selects “blank form with company info only.”
  • Updated the ARM Disclosure (Initial) by replacing the reference to “Brokerage” with “Company” for consistency with today's market.
  • The date prepared date prints on forms when “Always print the current date on all disclosures” is enabled.
  • Updated the “How can you get more information” section on the Credit Score Disclosure to reference the CFPB.
  • The “Itemization of Amount Financed” form prints amounts with a thousand separators.
  • The Fees Worksheet Summary form no longer prints “Total Cash to Borrower” as a negative value.
  • The Amortization Schedule Summary now prints 0.00 in the MI column after it cancels.
GFE
  • Origination charges are recalculated after a prospect or master template is applied.
Fees worksheet
  • The “For Sub Financing Only” label is now correct when there is a second mortgage.
  • Block 9 fees contain a check box to exclude the fee from the TIL escrow calculation.
  • Fees Worksheet populates correctly when fees are marked as POC in prospect or master template.
Reports
  • Loan Tracking Report section labels are consistent with the Track Status screen.
  • The Track Conditions report no longer overruns the form footer when printed.
  • “Calyx Report - Business Summary Report (with Excel)” now populates the Loan Originator names.
SDK
  • Added support for MISMO 2.6.
Services / Interfaces
  • Co-borrower Employment is no longer deleted when importing from Fannie Mae.
  • Credit Score Disclosure data is now included correctly in exports.
  • The lock boxes for “Details of Transactions,” sections e, f, g, h on page 4 of the 1003, remain locked after a Fannie Mae 3.2 file is imported.
  • Closing Documents interfaces now display the DataItemName for vendor-specific fields in the audit results.
  • Closing Documents interfaces now display the correct icon for Data Item Severity in the audit results.
  • Line 1304 from the HUD-1 now exports the correct data for MISMO 2.6.
  • The “Loan Affordable Indicator” now exports correctly for ULDD.
  • The UCDP interface was updated to include an additional mandatory new hard stop code.
  • Updated the ULDD interface to include Property Inspection Alternative and Property Inspection Wavier.
  • Updated ULDD to include the Loan Prospector AU System.
  • The Correct borrower count is exported for Fannie Mae ULDD.
  • Guarantee Fee Add On is not currently supported by lenders so it is no longer available on the ULDD screen or export.
  • Line 703 and line 704 on the HUD-1 screen are no longer duplicated in the MISMO 2.6 export.
  • Lock boxes on page 2 of the 1003 remain locked after Fannie Mae 2.3 files are imported and the data does not change.
  • Audit results are cleared when STATUS _Condition = Pending in the Closing Documents interface.
Document Management
  • The “Viewed by Borrower” data is now displayed in local time zone.
  • When the document repository is empty, you can import documents from WebCaster with the Send/Retrieve function in Document Management.
General Updates
  • Stored documents marked as “Secondary Marketing” are now visible to users with “Read Only” Secondary Marketing configured in PointCentral.
  • Liabilities are not rounded on page 3 of the 1003.
  • The 4506/4506-T forms are enabled for co-borrower files.
  • The Status and Priority print correctly for Tasks.
  • Notice of Action Taken is now positioned alphabetically on the Forms menu.
  • The HUD-1A, page 1 screen layout displays correctly.
  • Master templates behave correctly when values are set for fields in custom forms.
  • Loan status comments are saved in the loan when master templates are applied.
  • Monthly amount is cleared when the PMI/MIP/VAFF Impounds field is cleared in the Mortgage Insurance Premium/Funding Fee/USDA Annual Fee dialog box.
  • Net Rent value is populated on page 3 of the 1003 when there is a second mortgage.
  • Point closes without error when the user logs out while a file is open and a PointCentral rule has triggered.
  • Employment verification correctly returns borrower or co-borrower employment data.
  • Calculation for Warehouse Accrued Interest and Advance Rate now includes day per year.
  • The value for “Credit for Specific Interest Rate” on page 2 of the HUD-1 imports correctly when copied from Fees and Impounds.
  • The Communications dialog box is no longer available on the Utilities menu.
  • Loans close correctly when a reservation is deleted by the PointCentral Administrator.
