It's important to understand that there have been calculation changes from Point versions 7.2 and below, to versions 7.3 and above. For this reason, borrower files originated in 7.3 or higher that are subsequently opened in Point 7.2 or below will not contain the new fields, which will potentially break important calculations and cause data loss/corruption. Therefore, all workstations should be updated across the network at the same time ensuring consistent versioning across the organization.

Calyx recommends that you do not attempt to work in a mixed environment of Point 7.2 or below with and Point 7.3 and above.

You should plan your new Point update rollout with this in mind. Many of our customers will roll out updates by department or work group from the backend operations first, ending with the front end new file origination users.

Point version 7.5 will not be shipped via CD and is only available for installation from a MyCalyx installation e-mail. If you have not converted your account to an online MyCalyx account yet - please call your sales representative at 800-362-2599 to facilitate your change today.

Upgrading to Point version 7.5

Click here if you are upgrading from Point 7.3 or 7.4 to 7.5.

1. Contact the MyCalyx Administrator.
2. The Administrator will need to log into https://www.mycalyx.com
3. Click Manage Users.
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. From the user's screen, double-click the e-mail address for the user to which you are installing the service pack.
5. Select 7.5SP1 from the Apply Version dropdown list.
6. Click the disk icon for save.
   
   
   
   
   
7. At that time, all the user needs to do is to close Point if it is open and re-launch it. When Point is opened, it will automatically prompt to download the service pack.
8. Click OK to download the update.

**NOTE

You can update multiple users at once by checking the box next to each user account and on the bottom right, select 7.5SP1 from the Version Dropdown List and then click Apply Version.
