There are some situations where your computer may have crashed or you may be getting a new one. You must first remove the Point installation license from your old computer in order to install it on another one.  Complete the following steps to remove the installation license from one computer and install Point on another:

1. Log into https://www.mycalyx.com
2. Click Manage Users.
   
   

   

   
   
   NOTE: If you are transferring a seat license from one computer to another computer, complete the instructions below. But if you are going to use a separate seat license to install Point on another computer and keep Point installed on the initial computer, please see Adding users to MyCalyx.
   
   
3. Locate the user for which you are removing the license to use on another computer.
4. Uncheck the End-User Role ( ) checkbox and then click the Save icon. This will release the installed license from the old computer.
   
   
   
   
   
5. Double-click the username and then re-check the End-User Role checkbox.  (The 3rd checkbox)
6. Click the Save icon.
   
   
   
   
   
7. A message will appear in red that an e-mail has been sent to the user. 
8. From the new computer, wait for the new installation e-mail to arrive and click Install Point.
