Printer	Any Windows-compatible printer (1 MB memory required for laser printers.) Note: Multi-function printers are known to be problematic with the Point application. Calyx provides limited support for these types of printers, however the individual is ultimately responsible for these issues.

Network Environment	Not required for stand-alone computers. Point is written to be compatible with Microsoft peer-to-peer and client/server networks. Although Point does not run on a Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system, a computer with Microsoft Windows 2000* or XP; or a server that runs Microsoft Windows Server 2000, Server 2003, or Server 2008 can host your file server. Calyx does not support data hosted on a storage device, RAID Arrays, or the operation of Point on Novell networks, Linux, OS/2, UNIX, Windows 98, ME, or any thin-client networks such as Citrix or Microsoft Terminal Services. Point is known to be problematic with these environments. File search issues are the most common when data is hosted on Linux, RAID Arrays, or storage devices.
Software	Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 (or higher). Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0. Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel version 2000, XP, or 2007 are required for some features in Point. Adobe Acrobat Reader (V 5.0 or higher) is required fo reading PDF files.
Modem/Internet Connectivity	An active internet connection is required to access Internet-enabled services in Point.
