Symptom

When you save a Point file, the following error occurs: "The Request failed with HTTP status 413: Request Entity Too Large"

Cause

There is an improper setting in IIS on the PointCentral server

Resolution

1. Go to the PointCentral Server.
2. Open IIS Manager.
3. Expand the local instance.
4. Expand Web Sites.
5. Right-click the Default Web Site and then click Properties.
   
   
   
   
   
6. From the Default Web Site Properties window, select the Directory Security tab.
7. In the Secure Communications section, click Edit.
   
   
   
   
   
8. From the Secure Communications window, select Ignore client certificates.
9. Click OK.
