0195 Exporting Reports to Excel causes the Conversation Log to display ####

SYMPTOM

Exporting a report to Excel causes the conversation log to display pound signs (#####) instead of data.

CAUSE

Excel views the Conversation Log column format as text rather than general data.

RESOLUTION

Change the format of the column in Excel to General

  1. Open the Excel document that was exported from Point.
  2. Right click on the header of the Conversation Log column.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. From the Number tab, highlight General and click OK.
