When you e-mail a form as a .pdf document, an error appears: "Failed to create C:\...\Forms(Legal).pdf"

CAUSE

Upgrading Point leaves old versions of the Amyuni driver files that conflict with the new version of Point.

RESOLUTION

Reinstall the Calyx Document Converter

1. Restart the computer.
2. Go to the Control Panel.
3. Double-click Printers & Faxes.
4. Delete the following printers if they exist:
   • Amyuni Document Converter
   • Calyx Document Converter
5. Double-click My Computer.
6. Double-click Local Disk (C:).
7. Double-click the WINDOWS folder.
8. Double-click the system32 folder.  For 64-bit operating systems, double-click the SysWow64 folder.
9. Delete the following files if they exist:
   • cdintf.dll
   • cdintf210.dll
   • cdintf250.dll
   • cdintf300.dll
10. Double-click the spool folder.
11. Double-click the drivers folder.
12. Double-click the w32x86 folder.
13. Delete the following files if they exist:
    • acfpdf.txt
    • acfpdf207.dll
    • acfpdf210.dll
    • acfpdf250.dll
    • acpdf300.dll
    • acpdfui300.dll
    • acpdfui207.dll
    • acpdfui210.dll
    • acpdfui250.dll
    • pdfui250.dll
14. Double click the 2 folder.
15. Delete the following files if they exist:
    • acfpdf.txt
    • acfpdf207.dll
    • acfpdf210.dll
    • acpdfui207.dll
    • acpdfui210.dll
16. Return to the w32x86 folder.
17. Double click the 3 folder.
18. Delete the following files if they exist:
    • acfpdf.txt
    • acfpdf250.dll
    • acpdfui250.dll
    • acpdf300.dll
    • acpdfui300.dll
    • pdfui250.dll
19. When all .dll files have been deleted, reinstall the document converter by going to My Computer.
20. Double-click Local Disk (C:).
21. Double-click the Winpoint folder.
22. Double click the PDFInstall.exe file. This will delete all versions of the Amyuni driver files and reinstall the Calyx Document Converter printer.
    
    For Windows Vista/Windows 7: Right-click on Pdfinstall.exe and select Run as Administator.
    
23. When the installation has finished, click OK and e-mail a form from Point.
