6008 Uninstalling Microsoft .NET Framework

Common System Tasks

To uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework:

Windows 8/10 users

  1. Right click the Windows Start button and select Control Panel.
  2. Select Programs and Features.
  3. Select the Microsoft .NET version you want to uninstall from the list of installed applications.
  4. Click Uninstall/Change.
  5. Repeat for each .NET Framework installation on your system.

Windows 7 users

  1. Click the Windows Start button and select Control Panel.
  2. Select Programs.
  3. Click the Uninstall a program link under Programs and Features.
  4. Select the Microsoft .NET version you want to uninstall from the list of installed applications.
  5. Click Uninstall/Change.
  6. Repeat for each .NET Framework installation on your system.
